In his 94th year, our father joined our mother. He is survived by his five children Stanley, Sandra, Neil (Clo), Linda and Marilyn. He was a cherished grandfather to Thomas, Jessica and Prairie. A great- grandfather to Felix. He is survived by his sister Edith, predeceased by brothers Ken, Keith, George, Charlie and Reggie and sister Rheta. 

Father was a longterm member of the Masonic Order and was a Past Master of Rideau Lodge and Past District Deputy Grand Master for Ottawa District #2 from 1992 - 1993. 

A great collector and builder of model scale and full scale steam engines and trains, he was involved in the creation of the Pontiac Steam and Gas Show, Ottawa Live Steamers and others. 

Friends and family may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 12 noon, followed by a reception. For those desiring, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the funeral home website at www.hpmcgarry.ca. Interment will follow the reception at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa.
