January 13, 1974 Miss Bennett Paid Tribute Final tribute was paid the memory of Janice Louise Bennett at her funeral Tuesday, January 15, 1974 from the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, McArthur Ave. to St. James Anglican Church where the service was conducted by Rev. F. A. McGregor and Rev. D. F Weegar. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Miss Bennett died accidentally January 13 at Quyon, Que. as a result of a snowmobile mishap, at the age of 22 years. She was born at Almonte Hospital, November 11, 1951, a daughter of William Edward Bennett and his wife, the former Lois G. Weedmark. She was educated at the Carleton Place High School and the Ethel Gould Business College. She had resided at 294 Flora Street and lately had been with National Cash Register as a secretary. Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Jim and Scott and a sister, Susan; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Weedmark and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Bennett. She attended St. James Church. The pallbearers were Eric Buckingham, Michael Beninger, Lee Robillard, Bruce McKittrick, Jerome Watters and Peter Watters.
